What people say about the coach

I have worked with Paul over a number of years to move my business forward. His advice and guidance has been invaluable for business progression. He is challenging in his ideas and innovative in identifying existing business strengths to develop in a way that uses these to the full. I would not hesitate in recommending him to any business-large or small, and will certainly continue using his services into a bright future.

I have been working with Paul Haley as my Business Advisor for 6 years. Paul has mentored me from the very beginnings of my business helping me through the challenges and guiding me to create opportunities for growth. Paul has many years of experience working with a wide sector of businesses which he draws on in order to give a knowledgeable and balanced view and advice. I have found him to be a great support and calm voice in influencing my business decisions. He has been instrumental in helping me to achieve a position of expansion onto the global stage. I would highly recommend working with Paul for anyone who is open to doing the best for their business and is wanting to work with an effective Coach and Business Advisor

When we started our business we had a very dear vision of how it was going to be and who our target market was. Various training courses and demand from clients began pushing us into other areas and a year later we found we were running in several different directions and not knowing how or whether to take the leap into one area or to continue trying to cover them all, With neither the clear vision nor the expertise to decide for ourselves we asked Strategy Matrix for help.

Paul Haley spent a day with us during which he assisted us in pulling our business apart and analysing where we were now, where we wanted to be in five years and which market was going to get us there. Strategy Matrix then put a plan together for us as to how we could achieve this. A year later, we are still working to this plan, it’s still relevant to our business and we really know where we are heading.

Paul provided regular support and encouragement to move us forward when we are losing motivation. My only regret is that I didn’t seek advice from Paul before we set up our business. It would have saved us a lot of time and money and cur business would be in a far better place at this stage if we had. The best advice I could give to anyone thinking about setting up a new business, and I stress the word thinking: is to sit down with Paul and set up your strategy while it is still an idea. This will ensure you really are aiming at the profitable market. You only have to do your literature once and your image will be spot on from the work go.

Testimonial for Paul Haley
I started my own business 17 years ago and in the first 7 years I listened to a number of business advisors. Then I met Paul Haley and the rest faded into banality.
I have been fortunate enough to have had business advice from Paul for the last 10years. I can now recognise when other business advisors are ‘quoting from the textbooks’. Mainly because Paul has chosen a number of these books to push under my nose over the years, and I am still learning.
As well as being very well qualified in his field, Paul has also run his own businesses and brings his own unique style and first-hand experience to his business advice. It’s not just from books.
It can be a lonely place running your own business. Even with a fantastic, supportive husband and family there is no substitute for knowledgeable, unemotional advice. It is both calming and comforting.
You can guarantee that Paul will ask lots of questions to which you don’t yet have answers; such as ‘what is it you want for your business?’ and ‘why do your clients come to you?’. It’s nothing if not thought-provoking. You get to know yourself and your business better.

It’s not easy to take his advice even when you know he’s right. It takes bottle to do what’s needed. It may be getting rid of a problem member of staff, or putting your prices up, or demanding things of people. But when you ‘man-up’ and do as Paul suggests, you get the rewards of a better business, and a clearer path to where you are going. Because with Paul on board, you do know where you are going and you know you will get there.
Thank you Paul for all your advice and support, I am enjoying the journey.
